SOULKID #1's AMERICANIZED was the very first release for the Secret Agent Records label in 2004. Since then it has become a California Pop Classic! Originally recorded for Dreamworks Records but almost shelved before it's release, frontman/songwriter, Marc Godfrey was able to wrangle back full rights to the album and put it out independently. With it's cheerleader driven chorus, "(More Bounce In) California" became an instant grassroots cruising anthem for the teenage party set. The song ended up on the "Legally Blond" soundtrack on 'Laguna Beach" and "The O.C." and can still be heard over the loudspeakers at Dodgers Stadium!
